I. Basic Information:

Chemical Formula: Mg(OH)₂

Appearance: Milky white thick liquid, odorless and tasteless

II. Physical Properties

1. Solid Content: Standard range 30%～60%

2. Viscosity: Low viscosity with good fluidity, easy for pumping and blending

3. Suspension Performance: Resists stratification upon standing, excellent storage stability

4. Form: Water-based suspension with favorable flowability

III. Chemical Properties

1. Acidity and Alkalinity: Weakly alkaline with pH value of 9.5～10.5 and strong buffering capacity

2. Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, readily soluble in strong acids, capable of acid-base neutralization reactions

3. Stability: Chemically stable at room temperature, resistant to oxidation and deterioration

4. Environmental Friendliness: Halogen-free, non-toxic, heavy metal-free, generates no smoke or toxic fumes

Applications:

1. Flame Retardant for Rubber and Plastics: Serves as an eco-friendly flame retardant filler for plastics, rubbers, cable materials, paints and coatings.

2. Environmental Treatment: Flue gas desulfurization (thermal power plants / ships), pH adjustment of industrial wastewater, heavy metal adsorption.

3. Coatings / Papermaking / Textiles: Matting and flame retardancy for coatings; pH adjustment and retention aid for papermaking; flame retardancy and acid neutralization for textiles.

4. Agriculture: Slow-release weak alkali used as soil conditioner.
