II. Physical Properties

1. Extremely high melting point with excellent high temperature resistance and fire resistance

2. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and readily soluble in acids

3. Possesses outstanding electrical insulation, thermal conductivity and moisture absorption capacity

4. Higher activity corresponds to stronger reactivity and adsorption capacity

1. A typical basic oxide capable of neutralizing acidic substances

2. Reacts slowly with water to produce magnesium hydroxide

3. Chemically stable with resistance to acids, alkalis and corrosion

4. Maintains a stable structure at high temperatures and is not prone to decomposition

Applications:

- Rubber and Plastics Industry: Used as vulcanization accelerator, acid absorber and reinforcing agent to improve the tensile strength, aging resistance, heat resistance and oil resistance of rubber. Widely applied in neoprene rubber, nitrile rubber, silicone rubber and plastic products.

- Chemical Desulfurization & Environmental Protection: Applied in flue gas desulfurization and acid-base neutralization of wastewater, adsorbing heavy metals and acidic waste gas with high desulfurization efficiency; a special raw material for environmental water treatment.

- Building Materials & Flame Retardant Materials: Used to manufacture fireproof boards, flame retardant fillers and thermal insulation refractory materials. It functions as a halogen-free eco-friendly flame retardant with smoke suppression, heat insulation and high temperature resistant properties.

- Ceramics & Electronics: Serves as raw material for fine ceramics, thermistors and electronic components, boosting sintering density as well as insulation and thermal conductivity performance.

- Other Fields: Lubricant additives, dye neutralizers, feed additives, anti-caking agents for compound fertilizers and catalyst supports.
